I am satisfied with the work that was done. Brake job is working as needed. The other work was satisfactory as well. I could have used the vehicle over the weekend, but due to unforeseen situations on Friday, as explained, it had to be held until Monday so the work could be completed as needed. I am very flexible and understanding when it comes to shop circumstances, ordering parts and all the work that is done at Budds. Thanks for taking care of me. It’s always been a pleasure doing business here.

My neighbor asked me to drive him home from his auto repair shop and told me it was Budd's, (Budd and Company Automotive) and I was really taken back to a much different time. In Ballard we called Budd's, The Dyno Shop, "most advanced diagnostic setup this side of Los Angeles" and we had faith in the place but it was a mater of... $$$'s so each trip from 15th ave. NW to Rainier Ave and on past the Muffler Shop to Budd's Dyno was very, very, serious. I learned about Budd's from a good friend, (we were Ballard High Students), and most of us were obsessed with manifolds, 12 port Wayne Heads, Blue Flame Sixes, LaSalle Transmissions, locked differentials, lowering blocks, tachometers and tons more. First time in, Floyd and friends arrived at Budd's in his immaculate '41 Chevy Coupe in orange lacquer by J & J's, Healey buckets front and back, 302 GMC L6, 12 port head, 5x1 intake, Solex 5x1s, straight linkage, full-iscy, roller p. rods, huge trans., massive clutch (no assist), locked diff. and M&H slickers @ 25 psi. Forgot one thing,,,,Oversized Fenton cast aluminium gas pedal. It sounded like 3 Harleys on alcohol. It was scary fast, we were 17 yo and it was summer of 1962. So mesmerized by Budd's diagnostics and pro-crew, I returned in 1963 with my '55 Austin Healy 100-4 in search of why the miss at 4,200 rpm....No problem and thanks again...Tom

I've been a customer of Budd and Co for years. They have been a pleasure to work with. I have enough trust in them that when I took both of our cars in recently for a tune-up, I also told them to look both cars over and repair whatever else needed to be replaced. It is a wonderful company.
