When I moved to the area 10 years ago, I lost the ability to have a space to work on my own car. I wasn’t sure who to talk to about my automotive maintenance and repair needs, so I asked around at work. The person in charge of the company’s fleet of cars said that they used Budd and Co, and that the company also served the public, so I figured I’d give them a try. After my first interaction with them, I’ve been coming back whenever I need my car fixed or even for oil changes. Mike at Budd and Co has always been patient whenever I’ve brought in my car. He walks through what the issue is, gives a preliminary overview of what they’ll test on the car, and then gives an estimate of the costs to test. After testing, I get a call with what they’ve found, and an estimate of the cost of repair. At this point, I can ask questions, ask for alternatives, and have a general discussion of what can be done to take care of the car. Mike then gives an estimate for what will be done in terms of time and how much it will cost. My next phone call is usually a notice that the car is ready. I’ve been taking my car there for over 10 years, and it’s a 14-year-old car at this point… I trust them to take care of it today, and I’ll trust them with any new cars that may come my way in the future.
